Hi Ho!

Some of us have gone to work, and some have stayed at home. And so far today I've cleaned the windows, fitted the fireguard in the lounge, done two whole loads of washing and a little bit of blogging. Oh, and I've kept Charlie fed and watered, as well as entertained. (He's in bed now - I feel like I should be as well!)

  2. You need to develop the art of doing what you want all day then starting the housework five minutes before your wife arrives home so it looks like you've been at it all day. My husband is quite good at it! Or am I just being cynical?

Really your main job is being 'dad' so enjoy it!

  3. Yeah, Josie, but don't forget men can't multi-task. What we can do is make it look as if we're multi-tasking; thanks for the tip, working mum!

  6. You will soon learn that a woman's work is never done and you might also learn to multi-task.

  8. Do slow down, dear boy. By the way, are you up for a bit of depping in a fortnight? We've got that confounded Kodaly Messa Brevis. (Not 'brevis' enough, if you ask me!)

  9. Ooh, Kodaly's Missa Brevis, I love that piece. (Sorry, is it very annoying to play? Or just a bit naff?)

  10. Not at all as far as I'm concerned, Gadjo; nor to sing (just don't tell Can Bass!).
Not sure what it is that takes it out of you - there are so many possibilities Cas, none of which are ever truly done (as you rightly say, CW). I think my wife has come to that conclusion too, AG; as for the midday nap, forget it FB! There was the ironing to do!

  11. Congratulations! You are being very productive. But even if you and Charlie splash in puddles and draw circles all day, its still productive....a child's pace of life is a wondrous thing...
