New kid on the blog
What do you think when you come across a blog you haven’t seen before? Excitement and anticipation at something new to read? Idle curiosity, and a desire to see how 'they' might do it? Or frustration, maybe, at discovering another fascinating site to add to your already bulging list of 'must reads'?
Personally I’m amazed there are so many new blogs out there. I thought by now I might have seen them all. Not a bit of it. Following a link somewhere, discovering an entirely new coterie of followers and fellow-bloggers, is a bit like disappearing down the rabbit hole. New corners of the blogging universe suddenly open up with a horizon stretching out as far as the eye can see. There are parallel blogging worlds out there just waiting to be discovered.
A week or two ago a blogger new to me - Rebel Mother - gave me an award. And one of the duties attached to it was nominating ten blogs new to you. So I’m going to post a link to a new blog every week for the next ten weeks, if I can. Share the love, as it were. You may already have them bookmarked. But they’ll be new to me, and I’ll tell you why I like them and point you in their direction, in case you fancy popping along yourselves. And the first? Well, that's got to be Rebel Mum herself (even though she's already got the gong). Pop along there now and have a look. You won't be disappointed.

Hi there, I popped by to say thank you for becoming a follower of my blog. I am really pleased that you are one of the British Mummy Bloggers with dangly bits, well deserved. Oh my, maybe that didn't come out quite right, but it was well intentioned.
ReplyDeleteI also have a combination of reactions to new blogs. How can there be so much good writing that I haven't read? And how am I going to manage that now that the sun is finally shining in Scotland?
Dear Dottie - Thank-you so much for saying such nice things.
