Lift off!
Whether it's the sea air at Grandma's or all the attention Charlie's been receiving or the general mood of holiday relaxation, it has been a week of firsts at Bridlington. To begin with, Charlie has decided to sleep right through the night all week; second, he's started crawling - or more precisely, tummy shuffling. Whatever you call it he's getting quicker at it every day, and I'm convinced the two things (sleeping, crawling) are related. So it's down on all fours crawling all the time for us from now on!

What a clever boy!
ReplyDeleteWhen The Beautiful Son started sleeping through the night, he was joined 9 months later by Beautiful Baby Daughter !!!
ReplyDeleteDon't say your auntie didn't try and warn you !!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a comment. Yes, my Dear Hubby is also a cyclist, riding almost 20 miles round trip to work and back at the age of 55. He likes going from point A to point B as well, but I can't imagine such rude behavior coming out of HIM. He has a lot more couth than the young punk I wrote about. BTW, Charlie is adorable! I'm a stay-at-home Grandma taking care of my 2 1/2 year old and almost-5-month old grandsons. I wouldn't change it for the world!
ReplyDeleteCan he go up and down steps with this tummy shuffling thing? (You can probably see that I've never been a dad!)
ReplyDeleteHe'll lull you into a false sense of...relaxation...and then will for no reason start waking up at night club turning out hours....and of course he'll be pushing all the buttons on the DVD before you know it!! What fun!
ReplyDeleteAw, bless!
ReplyDeleteI lost you! But I've found you now.
The tummy shuffle is fab, isn't it? Although I always used to feel ashamed when my little one stood up and the front of her t-shirt was covered in dust from the floor.
ReplyDeleteGreat vid, though, you should enter it here (www.bedtimetots.com)
